Trickle of A Tear

A

Prism

Of sadness

A piece of soul

Falls from the eyelids

That place where you stand

Trickling droplets of emotions

Too hard to handle; finally let go

Relieving the strain of that pain

It falls from your eyes like rain

Until you are totally drained

So you can rise up again

To play the game.

  1. Absolutely beautiful imagery to capture the moment when a tear falls from the eyelids. Love the musicality of this poem with double and triple rhymes as in these verses:

“Relieving the strain of that pain
It falls from your eyes like rain”

I don’t plan to do hard-core email marketing and spam your mailbox and will only be emailing you about availability and promotions that would be 3 to 4 times a year, max. Promise!
Would you like me to add your e-mail address please?

    Thanks 🙂

  3. Well it absolutely is very influential. Love how the words form a tear drop ( is it?)and sorrow has been very gently embraced. Really thoughtful word choices. The poem is absolutely very gentle and tender and I absolutely love that part of it. As for the blog, it really is ripe with emotions. Glad to be here. Peace and greetings from Sui generis 💛
    Yours,
