But the star dust has long faded away

Leaving empty promises behind,

In this plain night sky.

The stars still twinkle

But they’re only lies

They tell lies with their beauty

Cratered in the moon

The comet came and passed,

But it left too soon

Now reminiscent of that moment

The flash across the sky

Though many years have passed,

They still tell the same lie

You curse the sky to never look up again

The years passed and you bore that pain

But in the last moment

You take your last glance

And you wish to the sky
