Mingling Memories

Memories tickle my mind on end;

Like spiders who spin their thread;

Which gets tangled up inside my head;

And makes me weep;

When the spiders creep;

While reminding me of things I’d rather keep;

Locked up forever, buried deep.

Memories endlessly tease me;

They just won’t let me sleep;

They keep me up, enthrallingly capture me;

Til all I’m yearning is to be free…

  1. So many indeed creep into our lives, no – not like creeps but true breed sycophants! Difficult to judge they their cobwebs of illusory masks! . Wonderful poetry as always, praiseworthy. 🙏🙏👌
